 Official Show Dress Uniform
Each year the students are provided with a marching uniform that includes overalls, tunic, gloves and hat. Marching shoes need to be purchased by each student. Students will be measured for the shoes during band camp and the shoes will be ordered and delivered to the school. The price of the marching shoes for the 2010 Marching Season is $29, which is added to the student's account.
Students are required to wear a clean dark t-shirt and shorts or sweat pants under the uniform and black socks. All of the pieces of the Marching Band Uniform are to be kept in the Band Room at Oakton and not to go home with the student. Each student will be required to pay a dry cleaning fee at the end of marching season. |
 Non-show Uniform
On a rare occasion, when bad weather is expected or other circumstances require it, students will be asked to wear dark jean pants, their Orkney T-shirt and tennis shoes as the marching uniform. If this uniform is required, your student will be notified in advance. |
